The suspects, aged between 20 and 31, believed to be the mastermind of a syndicate whose members impersonated as bank or enforcement agencies officers when they telephoned their potential victims in China.
Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Department director Commisioner Datuk Syed Ismail Syed Azizan said the Taiwanese were arrested at a condominium here on Tuesday.
He said the syndicate's members comprised at least 80 Chinese nationals, who were based in four shoplots in Bayan Baru that have been turned into a "training and calling centre".
